Our Story
Nono By Vivi is not "just" an online store.
It's a project born from several stories: that of the love for Nora, an extraordinary galgo, and that of two passionate women, united by a deep friendship, who chose to blend their worlds and sensibilities.
From this encounter, an obvious idea emerged: to create objects that tell a story and carry an emotion. Each illustration, each product, and each collection is imagined by two people and drawn from the heart, to convey a little softness and poetry.
Aurélie, also known as Vivi:
Vivi is Aurélie's artist name.
She is one of the two founders and the illustrator for the items in our Nono by Vivi shop.
She has been drawing since childhood and is passionate about art. Her early career was in a completely different field, but she felt something was missing: a connection to her passion.
It was from this realization that she decided to fully invest herself in creation. Thus, V.v Design was born.
Nora a.k.a. Nono:
Nora, known as Nono, is a greyhound (galgo) rescued from hunting in Spain and adopted on April 30, 2011, by Layla, one of the two founders of Nono By Vivi.
With her long legs, strong character, and gentleness, she remained in the hearts of all who crossed her path.
Fun fact: Nono lived to the exceptional age of 18 and a half, which led to the book "Her Breath in the Wind."
She inspired the very first illustration of Nono by Vivi.
When Layla decided to write Nora's wonderful story, Aurélie, who adored Nono, offered to illustrate the book.
During a work session, the idea of drawing on a photo of Nora emerged. This took the form of a tribute to the guide dogs of the "Day of the Dead" in Mexico (Dia de los Muertos).
This creative collaboration was such a heartfelt success that Layla's ideas flowed, and Aurélie never put down her paintbrush again.
Welcome to Nono by Vivi. A shop with a soul.✨
